These are AT3482P P-Mount moving magnet cartridges with diamond styli that will replace virtually any brand magnetic cartridge which plugs directly into the end of a linear or straight radial tonearm (generally found in Technics turntables; if a single screw thru the side of the tonearm holds the cartridge in place, its a P-mount). Don't waste time searching for a replacement stylus for your current cartridge when you can simply replace the whole thing for the same or less money!!!

Look no further for a high quality replacement stylus for your turntable. I must say this is the highest quality stylus I have ever used. I am hearing subtile tones in my records I have never heard before. The sound is warm, crisp, and responsive. I had to turn off the EQ on my preamp because it was not only unnecessary because of the stylus' performance but also because it was actually reducing the audio quality. I hope this product is still available when I need a replacement in a few years.

This cartridge works fine for my turntable bought in the 80's. It installed easily, just like the original, and transmits excellent sound. It sounds as good as cartridges that I paid more for 10-15 years ago.

I bought a Pioneer PL L50 turntable back in the mid-1980s, and recently my son pulled out my old album collection and took that turntable. We replaced the Pioneer cartridge that came with the turntable with the Audio Technica. The reviews were good and the price was more than reasonable. My son has been extremely pleased with the new cartridge, and I'm glad the old albums are being played.
